Reunion: My current plan is to retire in 2010 which might
allow me to attend our 40th reunion. I hope the timing will
work so I can attend my first reunion as we have worked
overseas since 1972. We have lived in Germany, Saudi Arabia
(twice), Russia, Togo, Hong Kong, Malawi, Taiwan, Thailand,
Swaziland, China, are leaving Malaysia soon and will move to
Kolkata, India later this year. In my new job I will be
working at a small consulate and have broader management
duties to include human resources, budgeting, and generally
keeping the place running. I visited Kolkata earlier this
year and while there are poor and the city infrastructure
needs work, it isn't as bad as most people expect and I'm
really looking forward to exploring more. Ray retired from
the Department of State in 2001. We still use the house I
grew up in La Crescenta as a base when we are home and look
forward to running into some of you before the 40th reunion.
