Shirley
Nute
Attention all CV alumni who sang in a
capella choir or one of the glee clubs: Let your voices soar
-- it's yesterday once more!
The legendary, award-winning, CVHS
Alumni Chorale, directed by the equally legendary Shirley
Nute, gathers in late September for another season of
rehearsals and memorable performances! (Wednesday evenings
at 7:45 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Glendale).
We have openings for sopranos, altos, tenors, baritones and
basses. You're wanted and needed, even if you haven't sung a
note since graduation! And if you've taken a break from
alumni choir the last couple years, come on back for the
fall performance season!
Our voices aren't getting any younger, and who knows? This
may be one of our last, best chances to relive the memories
and experience anew the wonders of live performance under
the direction of our beloved choir director. Remember those
special moments on stage when the songs all came together,
lifting our spirits and creating an indescribable magic that
flowed from the risers to the audience? Come join us for a
great time!
For more information, including directions to the church,
feel free to contact alumni chorale members Patricia (Bell)

See you there!
